Founded in 1832, Pleasant Hill combines the rich heritage and traditions of an old, established church with the fresh vision and excitement of a new mission field congregation. The people define themselves as "a fellowship of persons who are experiencing the redeeming grace of God in Jesus Christ and who are seeking to share that grace with others." Putting this vision into practice, this church has grown in the past five years in the number of persons making a profession of faith in Christ as Savior and Lord, in attendance and in the service to the community and the world through mission giving and special projects.

In 1994, the Family Life Center was built to provide space for the programs, activities, and ministries of the church.  

In 2004, the new Sanctuary was built to provide adequate space for our worship services and other special events.
